MALAO studios is a creative hub for professional artists, filmmakers and photographers in Luang Prabang, Laos. MALAO studios supports Lao artists in meeting, exchanging ideas, and training together in workshops and seminars; it also helps them to do their bit in developing a market for their art that makes it possible to work as a professional.
WHY LAOS?
An authentic place with diverse and unparalleled landscapes. Laos offers a unique diversity with untold stories. The weather in Laos allows to shoot all year round. From the north to the south, we can always find a sunny location. In the green season from June to September, rainfalls rarely last more than a few of hours, mostly after sunset. Our team has travelled and scouted the most remote areas of the country, offering exceptional insight into the best locations and stories in Laos.
